So, after sending papers to the loan processor, we wait. She said that the turnaround time, once the underwriter has everything, is about 48 hours, so we could hear back this week, conceivably. We've talked with a few friends who have experience in the mortgage biz, and everything they say puts my mind at ease. Now, whether that's a good thing or not remains to be seen.
Monday, we have our pre-drywall meeting, which means that we're getting that much closer to real rooms and real walls and real everything.
Almost overwhelming.
